Ica & Paracas - 20/10/2008

From Arequipa we took the night bus to Ica. At the minute we got there we took a cab to Huacachina which is a lovely oasis by a small desert lake.
Our nice cab driver took us to an odd guest house/restaurant/laundry place/sand board services where we slept the entire day reading napping and eating (not Yochai he was still fasting…). In the afternoon we took a buggy to the sand surfing dunes of Huacachina - the sole attraction of the place. We think that here the photos speak for themselves!
From Ica we took the bus to Paracas that lays by the Pacific coast and also known as Galapagos For The poor”. In Paracas we took a 3 hours bout tour to the Paracas reserve where there are more than one million birds among them – penguins, pelicans, cormorants and seagulls as well as thousands of sea lions – surely worth the ride!!!
